Hua Yi Hsiao (Amanda) is a Taiwanese filmmaker and artist born in Taipei and is currently based in London and studying Performance Design and Practice at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. Her practice includes filming, prop-making, and drawing, with surrealism and expressionism to create her personal experience. Amanda takes on multiple roles in her films, including acting, scriptwriting, directing, editing, and prop-making, and it explores the shifting borders and fluid boundaries between reality and imagination.
